Here is my 1989 Jeep YJ with 25,000 km's on a rebuilt motor installed by the previous owner.
The Jeep came with stock wheels, but the ones on the Jeep now are from my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L.
Work Needed:
- New leaf springs and shocks, the ones on the Jeep are okay but with the bigger tires it needs a bit of a lift.
- Minor rust repair, a couple of spots on the floor, cracks near seat mounting points on the drivers side, and a paint job.
- Also looking for a hardtop to match, I have full white doors, and picked up the half doors and top recently. The top that came with the Jeep had seen better days.
- The top on it now is okay for the short term, but we will need to install a new top soon.
Other than doing the brakes, changing tires, and installing the top and half doors, nothing has been done to the Jeep since I bought it.
Hopefully, I get to doing the suspension lift in the summer.
