Here are a few pictures of the Thing when I got it. The car was a little dirty, had a few dents, canvas frame was bent and it had the original top in rough shape, bumpers were slightly bent, some areas had small cracks in the metal panels from fatigue, tires were old, but it had very little rust. This is because the car was only used every other year or so and only in the summer months. I got the car off of a friend that had owned it since 1974 when it was just a few months old!

Engine Bay : Dirty, its never been cleaned since the car was bought by the previous owner

Passenger Side Fender : Damage from adventures in the Thing, I was surprised to

find so much oily residue behind the headlight.

Rear of the Car : Notice that the rear bumper has been pushed in near the middle.

Under the Hood : Other than a bit of dirt, the Thing is in excellent shape!
